This years NBA 2k was developed by Visual Concepts and Published by 2k Sports, also with the help of Jay-Z. I thought that maybe there was a little too much Jay-Z, it was almost like a big on going commercial. I started hearing the same songs and beats so much I just turned the music off completely.
My Career: In the recent sports games, my career, superstar mode, what ever it is, is always one of the big modes for gamers. I was happy this year that I didnt have to go through Summer Camps (which was like 8 full games). I just did the Rookie Showcase and then I went into the draft. As I progressed through the season I loved how my player advanced and got better, I thought he became too good. So I changed the difficulty to All-Star. Overall I would give the My Career a 9/10
My Team: I LOVED THIS GAME MODE.... but if they could change some aspects of it, it could become the big part of 2k. The whole idea is like how NFL Madden did their My Team Mode, in which you receive a bunch of players in the league now and so special abilities and a coach and some jerseys. 2k did the same thing, but instead of just playing random people and with friends, you have to do Road to Playoffs, in which you try to make it to the first seed and if you win it all you receive Michael Jordan. I hope they have this mode next year but I hope they make it more like how Madden did theirs. Overall I will give My Team a 7/10
